Safety

Mountain of Terror Haunted House in North Carolina prides itself on running a safe, clean, family environment where people of all ages can come to enjoy a night of fun filled adventure. In order to maintain this environment Mountain of Terror employees both on-duty and off-duty Law Enforcement personnel as well as our own security staff.

For the 2010 season we installed a metal detector near the ticket booth to help enforce our attraction rules and required that all customers pass through the metal detector before entering the attraction.   As expected, the response to this security measure from our customers was all positive.   So again this year before you enter the attraction you must pass through the metal detector.  In order to make this security measure as simple as possible we ask that you please leave all unnecessary metal objects in your vehicle.

Items not allowed include Drugs, Alcohol, Weapons of any type, Pocket Knives of any size, Utility Knives, Glass bottles, Matches/Lighters, Flashlights, Cameras or any other items that management feels could be hazardous to other customers or our staff.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation
